日本との文化の違いがこの間の授業で分かりやすかったです。
如何して日本人は靴を脱ぐのかという質問の時に答えられなかったです。
自分でも考えたのですが、やはりわかりませんでした。

In the previous class I learned that cultural differences can be divided into "things" and "behaviour". In this class, I learned that we can add a third category, "values and belief.

Color of hair is not a cultural difference.

Then, we reviewed last class and studied using forms of address as.
I learned that "teacher" is used only to address elementary school teachers, and is not used in English to address politicians and so on. And this class, I saw video. I guessed how to call a partner.
There is bad communication between Manuel and owner. Moreover, the moment it turned out that he is a nobleman the owner's tone changed immediately.
After all, it is not only in Japan but also in other countries that people change the way they speak when they talk to someone in a higher position or social class than themselves.

In this week’s Comparative Culture class, we did review first, and add value and belief to the culture differences. Then we saw the videos that show the people in English speaking countries does not always use the address when they call each other, the way of addressing is also depends on the position of them. We also see a way to address a royal member.
And according to the way of addressing each other we can also feel the relationship between them.

In today's class, we answered some questions about culture and reviewed how to address a person in Western countries. As examples, we watched some videos. Through those videos I thought I knew more about how to address people in fact. I think I had better be careful when I use "Ms", "Mrs" and "Miss" to call a lady.

火曜日の授業で学んだことは、相手（boss or wife etc...）によってMr. or Ms.をつけたり、苗字（first name）で呼んだり、名前(last name)で呼んだりすることです。また、貴族（lord）には姓がないということです。

映画を観て感じたことは、あまりMr.を付けないことです。

I'm looking forward to learning many things at next class.
