I will spend a few days in Nagano, and perhaps go to Tokyo to watch the high school soccer competition. I will also write an essay for the University periodical 人文科学部紀要 which I must finish by January 16th, 2009. My essay will be about “Talking About Japan”. The reason I am writing this essay is because I want to develop my thinking about this subject to prepare for the new English Communication Department, which will start next year. I think that the concept of “Talking About Japan” could form an important basis for the concept of the new Department.
I wish you all a very happy winter holiday. I look forward to seeing you again in the New Year. Have fun, and play safely.
